Sikatuna Tree Park, Bohol
Sikatuna is an interior town located 6.5 kms from Corella and 16.6 kms a less than 30 minute ride from Tagbilaran City. You can get there on a public transport by means of Public Utility Buses/Jeepneys, Habal-habal. It was named after the famous Bohol Chief who made a blood compact with Legazpi in 1565.
The Tree Park is located at Barangay Abucay Norte & Can-agong where a nature-based tourism project of the Municipality of Sikatuna which aims to promote environmental protection and ecological balance. At the park, you can plant trees for 100 pesos inclusive of a seedling and a certification that you've planted a tree at the park.

The park is good for nature lovers, site for camping out and for nature trail. A muddy road makes the park closer to nature but on a rainy season the road is a bit hard to travel. It's worth a visit and give a little something to Mother Nature.
Take only pictures, steal only time, leave only footprints. Enjoy!
